Ward Panel Membership

Hello Residents of Fullwell Ward,

We will shortly be holding our next Ward Panel Meeting and one of my goals since taking over as the Sergeant for Fulwell Ward a few months ago was to increase the membership and diversity of our ward panel. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the functions of a ward panel, it is  a group of community members and partner agencies that meets with a representative of the SNT (Safer Neighbourhood Team) at  least every 3 months to set local SNT ward priorities and to check progress from all partners to ensure that progress is being made on issues affecting the community. A ward panel will feed information and emerging issues directly to local officers, helping to shape and deliver local priorities and inform supervisors.

The Ward Panel meets quarterly at a location on the ward. Membership requirements are that each member should:
* live, work or study in the ward
* support the aims of the ward panel and agree with the terms of reference
* represent their community and have considerable reach within it.
